We provide coaching for beginners in brass, woodwind, tuned percussion and untuned percussion.
For more advanced players we offer coaching in conducting and music arranging using computers and midi instruments.

Arena and Marching Displays

For those interested in dance we offer training for majorettes and colour guard. We provide PomPoms, flags, batons and other show equipment.
For those interested in choreography we provide opportunities to train in show design including the use of computer simulation software.

Leadership

A marching band provides many opportunities for leadership. Many occasions arise when the band is divided into groups to work on particular parts of the performances and this allows different choices of leaders to meet the challenges.
The main leadership roles in the band are Field Commander and Drum Major. For selection to these positions age is not the major factor in selection to these positions but experience and trust are important.
